The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry has named Kessler Construction a Contractor of the Year. Kessler Construction was awarded Contractor of the Year in the Residential Kitchen $30,000 to $60,000 category.

The project we submitted for judging was a kitchen and butler's pantry in a farmhouse built in the 1870s, said Kessler Construction president Larry Kessler. The kitchen had been remodeled three times, the last in the 1950s, and it had a 1950s look. We had to remove an old exterior wall, relocate the mechanicals and remove an old unused chimney. To accomplish a major kitchen remodel at a moderate price was a minor miracle. The finished kitchen area is very functional and pleasing in design.
 

Kessler Construction has been approved by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as a Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (CKBR). The certification recognizes Larry Kessler's extraordinary competence as well as adherence to NARI's strict code of ethics. Kessler Construction is one of the first ten remodelers in the Midwest to receive this certification.

Kessler Construction president Larry Kessler has been elected vice president of the board of directors of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). He also serves as the chairman of the legislative committee.
